There is really such a thing as using brain power to become happier. In other words, you should become an optimistic person. Positive thinking, most especially during times of confusion, troubles, etc, will help reduce your negative feelings and replace them with positive ones. For example, if you didn't pass the final interview for a job position you've been longing for, it's okay to feel sad, but, at the same time you should also be optimistic. Just think that there's a better opportunity for you with a higher pay, better benefits, etc. Positivism is therefore one of the tips for happiness that you should apply to enable you to have a happy life.
